My parents were kind enough to take the kids for a few days so Richard and I could move and get settled a little without them running around. They got to do swimming lessons with Grandma while we got a lot done. It was so helpful! We spent about four days taking trips back and forth between our two houses with our minivan and moved most of the little stuff. Then we had some family and friends help us move all the furniture on the weekend.

Since Lydia is still so little and kind of a mama's girl, I kept her with me for the first couple days, then she joined the kids at Grandma's. She watched a lot of Baby Einstein. :)

We had to take breaks for Oreos several times... of course.

This is my little nephew in our moving truck. This is the only picture I got of the process.

This is what I spent all the time between loads doing. I painted our table and chairs and refinished the seats. It was a lot of work, but I loved how it turned out!
And apparently I didn't really get any pictures of our house as we moved in. Woops. It's beautiful, though, and we love it! We're so glad to finally be living in it!
The table and chairs are ADORABLE! Sometime when I'm ready to really put my heart into it, I would love to have you teach me how to do that sort of thing. :)
