Having fun in Portland

After the wedding our family stayed in Portland for a couple more days with the Sackley family and Richard's brother, Brad.  We spent one day exploring the beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and TREES!  We found a hike to go on and loved the breathtaking scenery.  I was also amazed by how easy the hike was although it was quite the climb.  I attribute the ease to the low altitude.  Seriously, I was amazed.

The next day we went to a theme park called the Enchanted Forest.  It's themed after many different fairy tales and it was perfect for our young crew.  They loved it and my kids keep asking when we can go back.

And last but not least, a couple pictures from where we really spent most of our time... the car!

So did this one... and the other two as well.  The only downer was when Jeff threw up just minutes before we would have gotten out of the car.  That made for a stinky rest of the ride home, but hey, memories right?

All in all, we decided we love Portland!
